B'ezrat Hashem

Dedication

In Memory of Koby Benlolo ז״ל

With profound gratitude to Hashem, we are honored to share and preserve the complete collection of recordings created by our beloved father, Koby Benlolo. This archive includes his Haftarot, Tehillim (Psalms), Pirkei Avot, Shir HaShirim, Shabbat and Holiday melodies, prayers and tefilot, as well as a selection of cherished Spanish and Ladino melodies.

For more than thirty years, our father devoted himself to recording and preserving these treasured traditions. His passion was not only to safeguard the rich heritage of our Moroccan Sephardic community, but also to ensure that future generations would have the opportunity to learn, appreciate, and continue these beautiful melodies.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dear friend Joey Naft, whose generosity, dedication, and technical expertise made the creation of this website possible. Through his efforts, these recordings can now be shared with family, friends, students, and communities around the world.

We also pay special tribute to the memory of Isaac L. Oziel Z"L, our father's beloved friend, mentor, and steadfast supporter. For many years, he encouraged, guided, and assisted our father in this important work, helping to bring this lifelong vision to fruition.

It is our sincere hope that this collection will serve as a source of learning, inspiration, and connection to our Sephardic traditions. May these recordings help preserve the melodies, customs, and spiritual heritage that have been passed down through generations.

As our father always respectfully requested, we ask that these recordings not be played or listened to on Shabbat or Yom Tov.

With great pride, joy, and love, we dedicate this archive to our Moroccan Sephardic communities and to all those who cherish and seek to preserve our sacred traditions.

Dedicated in loving memory of our mother, Rica Benlolo Z"L. May her memory be a blessing, and may her devotion to her family and community continue to inspire us to follow our customs and traditions.
